PUSCIFER: “Existential Reckoning: Live at Acrosanti” Livestream Event

Off the heels of the announcement of MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN having lingering COVID-19 effects, PUSCIFER announced today the Livestream Event “Existential Reckoning: Live at Acrosanti”.

In partnership with DANNY WIMMER PRESENTS, DWP for short, the band fronted by KEENAN, will go live in the beautiful scenic desert of Acrosanti, Arizona.

For many who don’t know, DWP announced earlier in the year, their Pay-Per-View series “Offstage With DWP”. DWP is responsible for some of the U.S.’s major festivals such as “Sonic Temple” and “Aftershock”.

Danny WIMMER, founder of DWP had this to say about the event:

“We could do a live stream from anywhere — a sound stage, an empty theater. But this location, at Arcosanti, in the heart of the unforgiving yet beautiful Arizona desert, adds another dimension to PUSCIFER’s music”.

METALLICA Announces “Live & Acoustic From HQ” Livestream Event

Premiering live on Nugs.tv, on Saturday November 14th, METALLICA Announced the Livestream Event to benefit ALL WITHIN MY HANDS” Foundation. The event, which kicks off 2 PM PST, will be live-streamed from the band’s headquarters in San Rafael, California.

SHARON OSBOURNE: “No More Tours 2” Rebooked

Per SHARON, OZZY’s previously scheduled U.K. tour has been rescheduled. The prior 2019 and 2020 tours cancelled first due to surgeries and illnesses, will happen in 2022.

SHARON saying, “The British tour, he’ll be back in ’22. You know, we just carry on as normal. We’ve been doing loads of TV shows here and you’ve got to just keep going until OZZY can go back live. He’s in the studio right now doing a new album. We’re going to do a movie of OZZY’s life story and he’s got to do the soundtrack to that… so I’ll keep him busy, let’s put it that way.”

Now obviously this is all good news, considering venues and agents are scrambling to rebook tours cancelled because of COVID-19 Pandemic, so what do you think? Will you go?

JACK OSBOURNE has stated in the past that he believes OZZY will retire in 5-10 years. The BLACK SABBATH legend, on the other hand, doesn’t want to retire. He, himself, just wants one more global tour.

Most recently, OZZY releases “Ordinary Man”, featuring that great single “Under The Graveyard” and “Take What You Want” with POST MALONE. The guitarist being producer ANDREW WATT. Hear that below:

MARK TREMONTI: Solo Album Recorded In November

Speaking to MYGLOBALMIND, MARK TREMONTI was talking about his next studio album. Most recently, MYLES KENNEDY just finished recording and tracking his album, and TREMONTI himself is next. Stating that, “I’m next on deck to go into the studio for mine in November/December.”

After finishing this, (and assuming touring is possible, he continued with “MYLES and I will start to work on writing the next ALTER BRIDGE album while touring for our solo projects. That’s when we start compiling ideas for the next ALTER BRIDGE album.”

To date, TREMONTI has 4 solo albums. Most recently, “A Dying Machine” was released June 2018 through Napalm Records.

BLACK SABBATH Receives FUNKO POP Treatment

The legendary metal band announced today that the debut album featured woman will receive FUNKO POP.

Preorders for this fantastic looking vinyl figure begin today and they can be had here, and will set you back about $14.

Most recently, back in February, Rolling Stone revealed the woman on the cover as LOUISA LIVINGSTONE. She spoke about the experience 50 years later. Also stating that BLACK SABBATH and heavy metal aren’t her preference, electronic music is.

TRIVIUM Announces “The Deepest Cuts II” Livestream

TRIVIUM has announced “The Deepest Cuts II” Livestream, which is the second and final piece in its free showings. This event will take place in Florida, at the band’s current rehearsing space.

For many who don’t know, earlier this year, the band used some of the proceeds it earned from a high-quality Livestream to purchase a decommissioned airplane hangar. This space will be used as a rehearsal space, performance space and recording studio.

Speaking to BLABBERMOUTH, MATT HEAFY, lead singer and guitarist said, “The hangar we’re getting is huge,” adding that: “The first step, we’ll build in and enclose in a section of it where we’re able to rehearse in there, and it’s an all-in-one spot. And then we’ll gradually build downwards, build a recording studio below that, and then we’ll build outwards.” This space will be the band’s future HQ.

Speaking on the current space the frontman stated the band is “renting at a pretty sketchy place” for rehearsals.

Continuing on with the new soon to be HQ, the space will be used for multi-camera, high quality live-streams with full on soundboards.

“The Deepest Cuts II” Livestream kicks off Saturday October 24th direct from Orlando, Florida on the Twitch channel of the very talented HEAFY.

Could OZZY Get his own Children’s Book?

OZZY OSBOURNE might finally get his own children’s book. An author and illustrator known as FLU HARTBURG from Norway has announced the project on KICKSTARTER.

HARTBURG announced the project, in a way to tell the tale of going from poverty to wealth. The PRINCE OF DARKNESS is a self made story, who is most notably recognizable for the creation of a genre.

The KICKSTARTER is live now, with the link below. If you think this book is inspirational, then support it. As of this writing, the project is 16% funded.

Iconic Venues: STARLAND BALLROOM

Even though I do consider this a blog about Metal Music, in a time of such need during this CoronaVirus Pandemic, I would like to showcase one venue at the end of every week.

To start, I would like to introduce everybody to a venue known as STARLAND BALLROOM. This quaint intimate venue located in the heart of New Jersey in a town known as Sayreville has seen some big acts.

Known as STARLAND for short, this amazing venue has seen the likes of Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Stone Temple Pilots featuring Chester Bennington, VOLBEAT And Green Day. This happens to be the second time in its short history of being Starland that they had a major shutdown. The first was Hurricane Sandy when they were flooded out for close to a year. What a time to support this amazing venue! They really need help.

MOTIONLESS IN WHITE Confirms Full Livestream Event of “Creatures”

10 years after the debut of their first full length album, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE announces livestream concert of their debut album “Creatures”. Dubbed “Deadstream”, this unique event will go live on October 28th, and along with ticket sales, bundles are also available for purchase Here. Check out the Facebook post about the event below:

Alongside “Deadstream”, the band released a cassette version of “Creatures”, which is pretty cool and can be purchased here for the cool price of $20. This should be noted it is limited to 500 copies.
